About
The purpose of this study is to conduct a “history of the present” of the West African Ebola Outbreak by investigating the personal experiences and recollections of people involved in the humanitarian response. In particular, the central goal of this sub-study is to capture the experiences and recollections of biomedical researchers at a broad range of French, African, North American, and Asian research institutions participating in the response to this epidemic. The archive will eventually be made available to public health and other analysts seeking to understand better the biomedical research response to this epidemic and its contributions to its resolution. The sub-study will be conducted with Anita Schroven of the Max Planck Institute.
