About
This project aims to evaluate the HPV vaccination campaign implemented in 2023 –2024 and 2024 – 2025 in middle schools across the Île-de-France region. It consists of four complementary components:
- An ecological analysis of vaccination rates per school, related to area-level deprivation indicators.
- A survey of schools to document promotion activities and their implementation.
- Qualitative interviews with school professionals to explore facilitators and barriers in campaign implementation.
- Focus groups with parents to understand their motivations, hesitations, and preferences regarding HPV vaccination.
This evaluation, in partnership with ARS Île-de-France, supports continuous improvement of public health strategies targeting health inequalities.
Objectives
- Assess the ecological correlation between geographical deprivation and school-level vaccination coverage.
- Describe and classify promotion actions implemented in schools.
- Identify perceived barriers and facilitators among school staff regarding the campaign’s implementation.
- Understand key drivers and barriers to HPV vaccine acceptance among parents, with a focus on underserved and multilingual populations.
