    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem

About

As final event of the AMR research priority of the Institut Pasteur, an international symposium “Tackling antibacterial and antifungal resistant infections from disease to innovative therapies” will be held on 9-10 December 2024 at the Pasteur Campus (Duclaux Amphitheater).

During this meeting, the disease will be repositioned as the focal point to improve treatments of bacterial and fungal infections in a context of high antimicrobial resistance.

This one and a half day meeting will be organized around 4 sessions:

  • Treatment escape and AMR in patients and animals
  • Mechanisms of resistance and treatment escape
  • Chemistry for new treatments
  • Natural products and novel therapeutic strategies

The following speakers have already confirmed their presence:

  • Laurence Armand-Lefèvre – Hôpital Bichat – Paris, France
  • David Bikard – Institut Pasteur & Eligo Bioscience – Paris, France
  • Sarah Dellière – Hôpital Saint Louis/Institut Pasteur – Paris, France
  • Iuliana Ene – Institut Pasteur – Paris, France
  • Marion Flipo – Institut Pasteur de Lille – Lille, France
  • Vincent Libis – Learning Planet Institute – Paris, France
  • Rolf Müller – HIPS/HZI – Germany
  • Christopher Schofield – University of Oxford – UK
  • Athanasios Typas – EMBL – Germany
  • Thomas Van Boeckel – University of Zürich – Switzerland

The event will bridge biology, biotechnology, clinical studies, veterinary research and chemistry and will include keynotes presentations,  oral communications from submitted abstracts, a poster session and selected short-talks from the posters, with ample time for discussions, gathering and networking.

Full program will be released after call for abstract closing ie early-November.

Download the symposium brochure/program to spread the word :

Applications for poster communications are largely welcomed. We invite you to submit your contributions for this symposium in the form of an explicit title, authors list with affiliations, abstract, 3 to 5 keywords related to your abstract and complete contact information of the speaker to emilie.boutet@pasteur.fr

Abstract submissions for oral communication are now closed

There will be prizes for best posters and short-talks.

The event is sold out — registrations are closed.

!! Warning : if you registered, you must have received a nominative order confirmation by email from eventbrite (please ensure that you did get that email). If not, it means that you are not registered.
