I got my master degree in Molecular Biology at the Federico II University (Napoli, Italia), in 2009.
I received my PhD Degree (Open University, London) in the 2014, working at the Stazione Zoologica A. Dohrn (Napoli, Italy) in A. Spagnuolo’s laboratory. My thesis title was: “Functional studies of Ci-gsx in the developing central nervous system of Ciona intestinalis”.
In 2015 I got a post-doc position in France, at the CNRS in Gif-sur-Yvette. I started to work on on the epigenetic control of gene expression in zebrafish neural stem cells. This project was in collaboration among two teams: Dr JS Joly, and Dr L. Bally-Cuif. After one year and half, I moved at the Pasteur Institute to continue my work in L. Bally-Cuif team.
