(EN) Fascinated by the enormous contribution of mathematics in the development of various other fields, I devoted myself to the study of mathematics and their applications. As a first experience, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Operational Research at the University of Bejaia in Algeria where I was able to acquire skills in the mathematical modeling of complex systems, the optimization of yields and their associated risks, the use of several mathematical tools (logic, probabilistic modeling, graph theory …) to help making wise decisions and ensure to choose the best set of possible actions. Determined to further build my career in applied mathematics, I decided to specialize myself in analyzing medical data. I joined the laboratory of mathematics of the University of Poitiers as a Master’s degree student of Mathematics and Applications specializing in: Statistics and Data of the Living. During this training, I was able to do an internship at the Hospital Center of Poitiers. The main goal of the internship consisted in evaluating the effectiveness of the treatments proposed for patients with chronic Lomboradiculalgia post-operative. Actually, I have the opportunity to be able to forge further my professional level by integrating the G5: Statistical Genetics team within the Pasteur Institute as a biostatistician trainee. My main mission is to perform statistical analysis in order to infer disease subtypes of a certain known genetic diseases.
