I graduated in Biotechnology at the University of Barcelona and completed a MSc in Genetics at the University Paris Diderot. In 2022, I graduated with a PhD in Microbiology at Institut Pasteur – Université Paris Cité. I am interested in using genomics to better understand the emergence and diversity of highly pathogenic microorganisms, with the aim of developing tools in molecular epidemiology. At the Yersinia Unit, I am currently developing projects concerning the diversity and genotyping of Yersinia pestis, the agent of plague.
