Céline Curis is currently performing her PhD in Antoine Gessain’s lab under the supervision of Philippe Afonso.
She is studying the mechanisms of inflammation during HTLV-1 infection and more precisely how the exosomal pathway can be altered by HTLV-1. She also worked on HTLV-1 interactions with the blood-brain barrier.
Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she completed her master in biology at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon in 2015. She also graduated from Paris Institute of Technology for Life, Food and Environmental Sciences (AgroParisTech), in nutrition and human health, in 2014.
