Using cutting edge technologies, the Eukaryote Genotyping Platform (PFGe) implements applications in the service of some scientific concerns of the Institute, and at the request of the scientific teams: The fields concerned are human and mouse genetics and genomics. The platform positions itself on small- and medium-sized projects and also pilot projects. In addition to internal teams, the platform interacts with the Institut Pasteur International Network (RIIP) and some external teams, in scientific collaboration or service offering. The high-throughput technologies used are BeadArray technology for genotyping and Next-gen DNA sequencing, both from Illumina. The general aim is the discovery of variants responsible for phenotypic traits in human populations and diseases.
For submission of a project to the platform, fill the general project submission form for the Biomics pole.
