Users from research organisations and companies worldwide, from the fields of biotechnology, agro-food, pharmaceuticals, environment, etc., are welcome to apply for funded access to any of the 14 IS_MIRRI21 partners’ facilities across Europe. The transnational access (TNA) offers funded on-site and remote access to a wide variety of microbial resources, laboratories, state-of-the-art facilities, technological platforms and the experience of their staff to conduct scientific studies. Deadline: April 16th, 2021
The CRBIP participates in the TNA with the offer “Analysis by BioNumerics of MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry profiles” and the TNA workflow “Identification of taxonomically related Streptomyces strains from extreme Greek environments using mass spectrometry profiles” in collaboration with the University of Athens.
The CRBIP will be able to offer additional services (larger collection for MALDI TOF analysis, or whole genome sequencing for example).
To find out more about the TNA programme and IS_MIRRI21 facilities please check the TNA catalogue and the IS_MIRRI21 TNA portal.
Applicants are invited to submit a research proposal which will be assessed by a panel of experts in microbiology based on scientific merit. They can apply to one or several of the 14 TNA offers proposed by our partners or carry out their projects within the workflow strategy. The TNA workflows propose an interconnected set of products, services and resources offered by clusters of IS_MIRRI21 partners that will allow the users to refine and mature their research and innovation projects. Through this approach, the users will also benefit from the experience and knowledge of several access providers.
Applicants must contact the access officer for pre-feasibility evaluation of their projects prior to the submission of the proposal.
For more information about this access opportunity and the application process, please contact our Access and Communication Officer, Liliana Avila Ospina, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
