I started studying biology and chemistry in Grenoble (UJF), then I specialized in biophysics during my master degree in Chapel Hill and Paris. I’m interested by the understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying membrane proteins function and how biophysical tools can be used to investigate this question. I arrived in the lab for my M2 internship and I’m now doing a thesis to study allosteric transitions in pentameric ligand-gated ion channels using fluorescent sensors and tryptophan-induced quenching.
