I am a PhD scholar in the group of Dr. Pierre-Marie Lledo (Perception and memory) group. I am from the Ecole des Neurosciences de Paris (ENP) Graduate Program, Paris, France and joined the Lledo lab for my thesis. In general, I am interested in creative research with neurobiology and computational applications of the extremely dynamic system in our knowledge.
In my thesis research, I am interested in looking at top-down modulation of the olfactory bulb with particular reference to the development of perception and memory. For this I am going to label top-down cortical inputs in the bulb using Ca sensors and use two-photon microscopy in head-fixed awake behaving mice models to account for the changes in the activity due to learning. I am also interested in looking into structural plasticity of these input boutons and how they can modulate the activity of local circuits in the highly dynamic system of the olfactory bulb.
In addition, I also use Matlab, R, and statistics to make models related to the plasticity and evolution of the circuits.
