Soazic Gardais joined Institut Pasteur in January 2018 as a Project Manager.
She holds a Master’s degree in Genomics, Cellular Biology and Physiology from the University of Paris VII.
Until 2014 she worked for Clinical Research Organisations as Clinical Trial Associate/Manager and was in charge of the coordination and management of clinical studies in Europe. Soazic then joined the Benin Clinical Research Institute (IRCB) in Cotonou for two years, as Clinical Site Coordinator, to set up its site for clinical studies. In 2016, the European Vaccine Initiative (EVI) contracted her as Project Manager on malaria vaccine studies.
Her career has provided Soazic with a solid knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) regulations and guidelines and ethical requirements.
She is now dedicated to the management of the Asia Pacific International Centers of Excellence for Malaria Research (ICEMR), a 7 year program funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH),and also supports other team projects in the Malaria: Parasites and hosts unit headed by Ivo Mueller.
