A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem
e.g. searching for members in projects tagged cancer

About

I did a PhD on biochemistry at the Centre de Recherche des Cordeliers in Paris, France, under the supervision of Pr. Michel ARTHUR. I focused on the mechanism of a new class of transpeptidase involved in the last step of the bacterial peptidoglycan synthesis. Understanding of this mechanism will lead to the development of beta-lactam antibiotics such as carbapenems to treat Mycobacterium tuberculosis infections. To continue with bacterial infection, I joigned the lab of Agathe Subtil in July 2016. I will focus on the uptake, storage and usage of glucose from the host cell to the inclusion formed by the intracellular pathogen Chlamydia trachomatis.
