Nicolas Hegerlé, has been working in the Unit from December 2009 to July 2014. He mainly sudied the “Evolution of Bordetella pertussis”, the infection agent responsible of the whooping cough, under vaccinal pressure. He worked on the possible evolutions of the forthcoming vaccinal strategies as well and defended his doctoral thesis, directed by Ms Nicole Guiso, on 18 March 2014 : “What future for whooping cough and pertussis vaccination ?”. He obtained his PHD in science, with a speciality in procaryotic and eucaryotic microbiology.
