Nitipol (Ken) is a medicinal chemist who has tried to solve global health issues such as malaria and other tropical infectious diseases. He is working at Nation Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), Thailand. At Pasteur, he is a visiting scietist in Dr. Sylvie Pochet’s group and working on nucleosine mimic inhibitor project. Previously, he was trained as a phamacist from Thailand. In 2016, he got this doctoral degree in medicinal chemistry and chemical biology from Imperial College London, under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Fuchter and Prof. Robert Brown.
