I am a young scientist with an interdisciplinary background in Bioinformatics, Molecular Biology and Microbiology areas. Such knowledge allowed me develop a comprehensive perspective of Systems Biology and its complexity.
I joined the RNA Biology of Fungal Pathogens team at Pasteur Institute to employ my skills to help to investigate how variation in transcriptome structure regulate the biology of Cryptococcus neoformans and identify transcripts resulting from alternative start sites (TRASS). My goal is to delineate a sensitive manner encompassing NGS approaches to exploring the DNA regulatory elements, which can only be achieved by multi-layers omics and data integration.
I believe that we are just starting to learn how to explore the vast and complex genomic space and I hope to contribute with my work to futures studies and discoveries.
