I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Channel-Receptors Unit. My project focuses on searching for small and specific proteins that interact with nicotinic acetylcholine receptors which will serve as novel pharmacological tools for the further analysis of their structure and mechanism of action.
During my internship in the Pasteur Institute in 2015, I was participating in the project concerning the characterization of kinetic interactions of a snake venom protein with the penatmeric ligand gated ion channel family.
I did my PhD at the Nicolaus Copernicus University, Torun, Poland. I was studying the enzymes involved in the nucleotide signaling pathway and their role in the stem cell differentiation process as well as in different pathological conditions.
