Armiya Youssouf Abdou holds double Masters in Public Health, specializing in Methodology and Biostatistics (Paris-Sud) and Clinical Epidemiology (Paris Descartes).
After finishing her studies, she worked as a Biostatistician-research engineer for the APHP. She joined the unit of Pharmacoepidemiology and Infectious Diseases in Institut Pasteur in February 2017 as a Data-Manager. She is working on the BIRDY project, an international paediatric cohort study in low income countries. Three different countries participate in it. The main objective for this cohort is to estimate the incidence rate of infections with bacteria resistant to antibiotics in neonates and young children 2 years old and less.
