The DIVA project aids scientific users in the interpretation of their imaging data using virtual reality (VR). This multidisciplinary project is localized between the research teams of Maxime Dahan (Institut Curie) and Jean-Baptiste Masson (Institut Pasteur). More information is available here.
We are proposing a 3 to 6 month internship for a motivated student to contribute to a VR software project intended for scientific researchers. Specifically, this role will involve developing tools for visualizationand analyzingsingle-molecule imaging data (i.e. point clouds) in virtual environments. Novel strategies for interacting, representing and exporting data will be developed. The successful candidate will have a background in object-oriented programming and an interest in data visualization and computer graphics.
Primary themes for this internship will include:
- Software Design
- Virtual Reality
- Data Visualization
Object-oriented programming experience (e.g. C++, C#, Java)
Institut Pasteur (Paris)
Interested candidates should contact Jean-Baptiste Masson (firstname.lastname@example.org) with their CV with a brief motivation letter.
