A little guide for advanced search:

  • Tip 1. You can use quotes "" to search for an exact expression.
    Example: "cell division"
  • Tip 2. You can use + symbol to restrict results containing all words.
    Example: +cell +stem
  • Tip 3. You can use + and - symbols to force inclusion or exclusion of specific words.
    Example: +cell -stem

One postdoctoral position is available in the lab “Stroma, Inflammation and Tissue Repair” to study the regulation of tissue immunity and inflammatory responses by the stromal microenvironment.

Our lab investigates the role of the stromal microenvironment in tissue homeostasis and disease pathogenesis, with a focus on inflammatory diseases and cancer (Dulauroy, Nature Medicine 2012; Stzepourginski, PNAS 2017; Di Carlo, JCI 2018; Benabid, Curr Opin Immunol 2020). Using different experimental approaches including unique mice models, transcriptomics and confocal microscopy this project aims at investigating novel mechanisms regulating tissue immunity and the inflammatory response by the stromal microenvironment. We are interested in several organs with a focus on barrier tissues, such as skin and intestine. This project is integrated in an ERC project aiming at identifying novel therapeutic approaches in inflammatory diseases.

The successful candidate has recently obtained a PhD, has a proven track record of achievement in immunology or stromal biology, a strong interest in stroma-immune crosstalk and previous expertise with FACS. Experience with transcriptomics (single cells or bulk RNAseq) or epigenetics is not required but would be a plus. The position is available immediately and the candidate will further receive support to apply for competitive international/national fellowships.

The Institut Pasteur in Paris offers an international, dynamic and stimulating scientific campus with more than 1500 researchers working in 11 Departments favouring multiple collaborations, and access to top-notch plateforms.
