About
The PPU-Oxford program is a partnership between the Institut Pasteur and the Department of Chemistry at the University of Oxford which fosters synergistic projects to fight Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) between the Institut Pasteur and the Oxford Chemistry Department through a joint PhD student exchange program.
It aims at developing new chemical agents to fight AMR, including:
- chemical probes to better understand the biology underlying AMR
- new leads for therapeutic agents that are urgently needed.
The PPU-Oxford members will be reunited on November 18th, 2024 (1.30pm-6.30pm, followed by a cocktail) at the Institut Pasteur in Paris during this third edition of the PPU-Oxford Summit : “Chimie Biologique” – Tackling AntiMicrobial Resistance, together. This scientific meeting will combine short talks by the PPU Students, and longer presentations from the different PIs involved in the PPU to tackle AMR.
The scientific conference will be opened by Christophe d’Enfert, Scientific Director of the Institut Pasteur.
